## Discuss a medical flight

Send the locations and your contact details. No clinical information is requested here.

For an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services or the treating hospital. This form does not dispatch emergency assistance.

Libra Jet can arrange a medical aircraft with a medical team for evacuation to Bangkok, a hospital-to-hospital transfer or medical repatriation. We coordinate the enquiry with the specialist operator and healthcare professionals. The physician responsible for transport assesses the case, and the receiving hospital confirms admission before the mission is agreed.

## A medical aircraft with a team on board

Transport must match the patient’s needs throughout the journey. The medical team specifies the supervision, equipment and transport conditions required. The operator then confirms an aircraft compatible with that plan and the itinerary. The decision involves more than a jet category or the distance between two airports.

Libra gathers logistics information, coordinates communication and prepares the mission proposal. Healthcare professionals provide care; the selected operator performs the flight. Team composition, aircraft configuration and included equipment are identified in the proposal. Sending a website enquiry does not confirm a hospital admission or a departure.

## Established hospitals in Bangkok

Bangkok has several established hospitals serving international patients. The appropriate choice depends on the required specialty, receiving physician, exact campus and confirmed availability. These hospital references are informational and do not imply a partnership with Libra.

- **Bumrungrad International Hospital:** a multispecialty hospital with international patient support and a medical transportation contact. See its [official hospital profile](https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/about-us/bumrungrad-international-hospital) and [official contacts](https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/contact-us/contact-details).
- **Bangkok Hospital Headquarters:** its BDMS Medevac Center describes medical transport and repatriation services. See the [official centre overview](https://www.bangkokhospital.com/en/bangkok/center-clinic/trauma/bdms-medevac-center/medical-evacuation-and-repatriation).
- **Samitivej:** Sukhumvit and Srinakarin are separate campuses; pediatric medical transport also has a dedicated service description. See the [group profile](https://www.samitivejhospitals.com/about-us) and [pediatric centre](https://www.samitivejchildren.com/en/our-centers/pediatric-emergency-medicine-center).

Our [guide to Bangkok hospitals for a medical transfer](https://www.libra-intl.com/magazine/bangkok-hospitals-medical-transfer/) explains the confirmations to request. A general ranking cannot replace the physicians’ assessment for an individual patient.

## Coordinating the journey to the hospital

Planning includes the collection point, ground transfer to the airport, flight, receiving ambulance and handover to the hospital team. The participants need a consistent schedule and identified contacts. Ground journeys, airport access and arrival at the correct department matter alongside the flight itself.

The Bangkok airport is selected with the operator according to the aircraft, permissions and transfer to the receiving facility. The city’s two main airports are not interchangeable for every mission. We do not guarantee a fixed hospital-transfer time: traffic, access and local arrangements are checked for the journey.

## Information for an initial enquiry

| Information | What to provide |
| --- | --- |
| Journey | Departure city and country, intended destination; airports will be confirmed. |
| Purpose | Evacuation, repatriation or a hospital-to-hospital transfer. |
| Receiving care | Proposed hospital or a choice to confirm with the medical team. |
| Logistics | Preferred date if known and proposed accompanying travellers. |
| Contact | Details of the person or organisation coordinating the enquiry. |

Do not enter a diagnosis, treatment, report or patient name in the form. Medical teams will exchange the necessary clinical information through an agreed channel. You can [open the coordination enquiry on this page](https://www.libra-intl.com/aviation/medical-evacuation-bangkok/#flight-request).

## What is confirmed before a mission

Medical assessment, receiving-hospital agreement, aircraft and team availability, flight permissions and ground transfers must be in place. The operator also checks airport operating hours and operational conditions. Libra prepares the proposal with the participants; we do not promise an immediate departure or an available bed.

If an assistance company or insurer is involved, its approval and scope of cover need confirmation. The flight, ambulances, hospital care and companion expenses may require different approvals. The quotation identifies the included services and conditions; no standard medical transport price is published.

## Repatriation and onward travel

An enquiry may also concern a return from Bangkok or transfer to another facility. The destination and arrangements are assessed with the medical teams; an outbound flight does not automatically establish the conditions for return. An escorted commercial journey cannot be selected solely on price: professionals determine which transport is suitable.
